About Us

On June 12, 2014, the Board of Education of the Denver Public Schools approved establishment of REACH Charter School with the following mission and vision:

MISSION

The mission of REACH is to provide an inclusive Pk to 5th grade school in near Northeast Denver in which educators and families Reimagine Excellence for All in a Community with Heart.

VISION

 At REACH collaborative teams of teachers work together with flexible groups of students to meet the unique needs of every child, including children with special needs who have typically not been in general education classrooms. REACH graduates will succeed at high academic standards but they will also be empathetic, self-regulated, collaborative, and creative. We serve a wide-range of students from the urban center of Near Northeast Denver including: English Learners, low-income students, students with a wide range of disabilities, gifted students and general education students. Each child is unique and each child deserves an educational experience tailored to his/her unique needs. REACH is a caring community of students, educators and families who work together to solve problems, support each other, and grow as self-reflective learners.
