REACH uses Bridges in Mathematics™ as the primary mathematics resource. Bridges in Mathematics™ is a comprehensive Kindergarten-Grade 6 program which provides a comprehensive approach to learning mathematics by balancing conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application of computational skills. Each of the lessons in Bridges in Mathematics™ develops students’ problem solving abilities through the use of hands-on activities and cooperative group work rather than by mere rote memorization.
